These Terms & Conditions apply to all tours and travel services arranged by Ami Tours n Travels (“we”, “us”, “our”). By confirming a booking with us, you (“the traveller”) agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone travelling in your group. Please read them together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Our services

We plan and arrange travel within India, including hotel accommodation, private vehicles with drivers, sightseeing, guides, and domestic flight and train tickets on request.

Hotels, airlines, railways, transport operators, guides and other providers are independent businesses. We book these services on your behalf, and each provider’s own terms and policies also apply.

2. Itineraries, quotations and prices

  • Itineraries on our website are sample plans and may be changed to suit your requirements.
  • Quotations are based on the travel dates, number of travellers, hotel category and vehicle type shared with us, and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Prices may change until the booking is confirmed, for example due to changes in hotel rates, fuel prices, government taxes or entry fees.
  • Your quotation lists what is included and excluded. Anything not mentioned as included is not part of the package.
  • Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged as per government rules.

3. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment stated in your quotation and send a written confirmation.
  • The balance must be paid before the start of the tour, as per the schedule in your quotation. We may cancel services if payment is not received on time.
  • Hotels and services are reserved only after confirmation. During peak season and holidays, early confirmation is recommended.

4. Changes requested by you

If you wish to change travel dates, hotels, the route or the number of travellers after confirmation, we will try our best to accommodate the request. Changes depend on availability, and any additional cost or cancellation charge from service providers will be payable by you.

5. Changes to the itinerary by us

Travel in India can be affected by weather, road and traffic conditions, landslides, strikes, festivals, government orders or closure of monuments. In such cases, we may need to change the order of sightseeing, the route or accommodation.

We will always try to provide a suitable alternative of a similar standard. Additional costs caused by such events, for example extra hotel nights or longer routes, are payable by the traveller.

6. Hotels and vehicles

  • Standard hotel check-in and check-out times apply as per each hotel’s policy. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be chargeable.
  • Room types, meal plans and hotel facilities are as mentioned in your confirmation. In rare cases, a hotel may be replaced with one of a similar category.
  • Vehicles are provided as per the itinerary and are not at disposal for unplanned routes unless agreed in advance. On steep hill roads, air-conditioning may be switched off during climbs.
  • Driver timings, parking, tolls and state taxes are handled as per your quotation.

7. Traveller responsibilities

  • Carry valid photo ID for all travellers. Foreign nationals must carry a valid passport and Indian visa.
  • Some areas require special permits. We will advise on these, but travellers are responsible for providing the documents needed.
  • Travellers are responsible for their own health and fitness for the planned activities, and should inform us of any medical conditions or special needs.
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation and loss of belongings.
  • Please take care of your personal belongings, cash and valuables at all times.
  • Respect local customs, dress codes at religious sites and the rules of hotels, monuments and national parks.

8. Optional activities

Activities such as paragliding, rafting, snow activities, gondola rides, safaris and boat rides are operated by independent operators, subject to weather, season and local regulations. They are undertaken at the traveller’s own risk and, unless included in your quotation, are paid directly.

9. Limitation of liability

We act as a travel organiser and booking agent. While we choose service providers carefully, we are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay or additional expense caused by the acts or omissions of independent service providers, or by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government action or technical failures.

10. Website content

Information, photographs and itineraries on this website are for general guidance. Photographs are indicative and actual hotels, vehicles and views may differ. Content on this website may not be copied or reused without our permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Sonipat, Haryana.
