1. Day 1 Arrive in Amritsar | The Golden Temple

   Arrive in Amritsar and transfer to your hotel.

   In the evening, visit the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of the Sikh faith. Walk around the sacred pool as the gilded sanctum glows with lights and the sound of kirtan fills the air.

   Overnight: Amritsar

2. Day 2 Amritsar | History & the Border Ceremony

   After breakfast, return to the Golden Temple to see it in daylight and experience the langar, the community kitchen that serves thousands of visitors every day.

   Visit Jallianwala Bagh and the Partition Museum. In the afternoon, drive to the Attari–Wagah border to watch the Beating Retreat ceremony, a spirited display of drill and national pride.

   Overnight: Amritsar

3. Day 3 Amritsar to Dharamsala | Into the Himalayas

   After breakfast, drive to Dharamsala in the Kangra Valley, with the Dhauladhar range rising ahead of you.

   Check in to your hotel and enjoy the fresh mountain air for the rest of the day.

4. Day 4 Dharamsala & McLeod Ganj

   After breakfast, explore McLeod Ganj, home of the Tibetan community in exile.

   Visit the Tsuglagkhang complex and the Dalai Lama Temple, the Bhagsunag Temple and waterfall, and St. John in the Wilderness, a church set among deodar trees.

   Spend the evening in McLeod Ganj’s cafés and Tibetan markets.

   Overnight: Dharamsala

5. Day 5 Dharamsala to Manali | Along the Beas

   After breakfast, begin a scenic drive to Manali via Mandi and the Kullu Valley.

   The road follows the Beas River through orchards, pine forests and mountain villages. Arrive in Manali and check in to your hotel.

   Overnight: Manali

6. Day 6 Manali | Solang Valley & Old Manali

   After breakfast, visit Solang Valley, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Depending on the season, enjoy optional activities such as paragliding, the ropeway or snow experiences.

   Later, visit the Hadimba Temple set in a cedar forest, the hot springs of Vashisht Village and the cafés and lanes of Old Manali.

7. Day 7 Manali to Shimla

   After breakfast, drive to Shimla through the Kullu Valley and the hills of central Himachal.

   Arrive in Shimla, the former summer capital of British India, and check in to your hotel.

   Overnight: Shimla

8. Day 8 Shimla | Mall Road & Kufri

   After breakfast, visit Kufri for views of the surrounding forests and Himalayan peaks.

   Return to Shimla and walk along the Ridge and Mall Road, past Christ Church and the colonial buildings of the old town. You may also visit Jakhu Temple for panoramic views over the hills.

   Overnight: Shimla

9. Day 9 Shimla to Delhi

   After breakfast, drive down from the hills to Delhi.

   On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.

   Overnight: Delhi

10. Day 10 Delhi Sightseeing

    After breakfast, explore Delhi’s highlights.

    Visit Jama Masjid and the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk, followed by India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.

    Overnight: Delhi

11. Day 11 Departure from Delhi

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your onward journey, with memories of Amritsar’s spiritual heart and the mountains of Himachal Pradesh.
