1. Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati | Gateway to Northeast India

   Arrive in Guwahati and receive a warm welcome.

   Depending on your arrival time, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple or enjoy a relaxing evening along the Brahmaputra River.

2. Day 2 Guwahati to Shillong | Into the Hills

   After breakfast, depart for Shillong.

   Enjoy the scenic journey through the rolling landscapes of Meghalaya. En route, visit attractions such as Umiam Lake before arriving in Shillong.

3. Day 3 Shillong | Scotland of the East

   After breakfast, explore Shillong’s natural and cultural attractions.

   Visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and other scenic viewpoints. Later, explore the city’s markets and relaxed cafés.

4. Day 4 Shillong to Cherrapunji | Land of Clouds

   After breakfast, travel towards Cherrapunji, famous for its dramatic landscapes and waterfalls.

   Visit viewpoints and waterfalls such as Nohkalikai Falls, subject to weather and accessibility, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Meghalaya’s rolling hills and deep valleys.

   Overnight: Cherrapunji

5. Day 5 Cherrapunji to Shillong | Living Root Bridges

   After breakfast, explore the region’s unique natural heritage.

   Depending on fitness level, weather and local conditions, visit one of Meghalaya’s famous living root bridge areas.

   Later, return to Shillong and enjoy the evening at leisure.

6. Day 6 Shillong to Kaziranga | Into the Wild

   After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga National Park.

   Enjoy the changing landscape as you travel from Meghalaya’s hills towards Assam’s plains. Arrive at your wildlife resort and relax amidst nature.

   Overnight: Kaziranga

7. Day 7 Kaziranga | Wildlife Adventure

   Start early with an exciting safari experience in Kaziranga National Park, subject to park regulations and seasonal operations.

   The park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at the resort or enjoying optional local experiences.

   Overnight: Kaziranga

8. Day 8 Kaziranga to Guwahati | Departure

   After breakfast, depart for Guwahati and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

   Leave Northeast India with memories of misty hills, waterfalls, wildlife, vibrant cultures and spectacular natural landscapes.
